Meadows News
Winter Concert and Christmas Party
Our Montessorians were thrilled to welcome the Mayor of Oakland to our Meadows Garden this summer. The children proudly guided him through the garden, sharing the fruits of their ongoing care and collaboration. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to meet a community leader and feel proud of their hard work and accomplishments.
Science Fair 2025
Our Science Fair was a great success! Our Montessorians explored their curiosity as they selected, prepared, and presented their own experiments to family and friends. It was wonderful to see their confidence and enthusiasm shine as they shared what they had learned. We are so proud of all their hard work and creativity!
Curriculum
Menu
The curriculum at Meadows Montessori is built upon the core pillars of Montessori education. Sensorial, Mathematics, Practical Life, Language, Art, Science, and Geography. Across all classrooms, we have thoughtfully designed a prepared environment that inspires curiosity, fosters independence, and encourages hands-on exploration in our children’s absorbent early years.
Co-curricular Activities
We offer a vibrant program of Enrichment Experiences designed to complement the core curriculum and help children discover new passions, develop unique skills, and express their creativity. These experiences go beyond traditional classroom learning, allowing students to explore the world in fun, hands-on ways.
Our enrichment offerings include yoga, soccer and other team sports, chess for critical thinking, visual and performing arts, music and movement, gardening, science explorations, and cooking activities. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to foster confidence, collaboration, focus, and a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
